Problem with Currency update in MONEY 2005 UK RRS feed

    Having used MONEY 2005 UK for several years, with Sterling and Euro accounts listed in it, with Total Account Balance and Ending Balance of each account being displayed in Euro, this is still working fine, no problem ! but the problem is that before a couple of years ago, there was automatic or manual update of Euro/Sterling exchange rate. but this is not available now, and the exchange rate stays as a very old one ... So I need to know how to make updates of this exchange rate in my MONEY 2005 UK on my laptop running under Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 ... Many thanks in advance for your answer :-)

    Hello,

    I did what you told me: In Money 2005 UK go to Tools - Settings - Program settings - Currency - Update currencies.

    But once done so, nothing happened except message stating that Microsft Money has stopped working and my Money program is then closed, so I have to restart it ...

    Just changing the euro rate should not cause any problems.

    If you can open your file, is the new euro rate applied?

    If you cannot open your file you will need to restore from a backup, copy your data file and try a file repair before trying again to change the rate.
