Plugging in USB Flash Drive and getting Code 10 and 45 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, I recently bought a new 16 SanDisk Cruzer USB Flash drive. (sdcz36-016g sandisk cruzer) It has been working fine for two days straight then suddenly when I plug it in it makes that little noise, then after about 5 seconds it makes that noise again and disconnects. (This doesnt just happen on my computer, it also happens on three other computers i tried with windows xp) I have already tried other USB Flash Drives in that port and they all worked fine. I managed to get into Device Manager and it showed "WPD FileSystem Volume Driver" with a yellow exclamation mark. So i right clicked it then went to properties and it said "Code 10, The device cannot start" I have also gotten Code 45 before. At the top i went over to "Driver" and it told me "Driver Version: 6.1.7600.16385" (Just throwing that out there incase it helps)
I am also using Windows 7 64 Bit.
Any info or help would be greatly appreciated...I lost the receipt and this was 40 dollars *- -
