Accidentally downloaded unwanted "Total Security" spyware RRS feed

  • Question

  • I accidentally downloaded this fake spyware, which is now requiring that I pay a license fee just to uninstall it.  The Total Security informed me with flashing lights that I was being invaded by a trojan virus.  OneCare is running fine amd shows no issues.  How do I delete the Total Security?  If I cannot, does it hurt my computer just being on there?

  • OK everyone wants you to download this and buy this to get this total security out of your computer. So after I got frustrated with all the stuff I had to do I emailed this company threaten them and they gave me this removal address. So I figured I would give it to you guys C:\Program Files\Common Files\TSUninstall\Uninstall.lnk. Copy this and paste it into your address box. I promise it will work.

  • Ok, I'm not a computer genius but the information you provided to copy and paste the C:/ information did not work. I got an error saying windows could not find check spelling and try again. What am I doing wrong???? I did find another company that supposedly has a fix to this problem as well however I don't know the company and don't want to download another program that will just add to my problems. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
