SICK of this Validation garbage RRS feed

  • Question

  • WHY does Vista need to be so anal when it comes to hardware changes?  I upgraded my memory from 1GB to 2GB and now it complains its no longer genuine.  I tried the slui.exe 4 and called the phone activation already.  I entered in the install ID and it confirmed it was activated.   Yet windows is still popping up windows saying its not genuine.

I filled out a support email to Microsoft already, heres my confirmation ID: 1036727244

  • Did you try validating after you phone activated?  If not please click "Validate Windows" here: www.microsoft.com/genuine

If you get an error code please post it here.  The error code will be gray and in brackets at the end of the message on the page that says validation failed.  (It'll look something like this:  [0xC004C000]).

    Thank you!
