Search for multiple entities

Question
-
Hi all,
I want to display data from two or multiple entities.
I'm searching for two different queries(in .net) and i want to show the query(search) result in the MSD CRM search window. Assume that the search results need to show both "Contact" and "Case".
It is possible to show search window for each entity in particular. But is it possible to show different entities search results in one single page?(i.e.) is it possible to show this search result of contact and case in one single search window?-Kayal

Hi,
For that you can develop custom page with gridview to show multiple search reasult in sing page and deploy that page in MS CRM.

Hi,
Thanks for your quick reply. But this search page as it shows, searches for "yvonne" and returns the matching results from all the entities. But i have to display result of different queries (i.e.) one search may be "yvonne" in opportunity and another may be "123456" in contact. so i just wanted to show different entity results(for different entity searches) in one search page. It it possible?
