Why do my papers do not have my name when you query for them in Microsoft Academic Search RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I would like to know why my papers (see http://www.informatik.uni-trier.de/~ley/db/indices/a-tree/p/Pinto:Helena_Sofia.html) are present in Academic Search but they do not contain my name.

As a fact, when I query for "Pinto" authors, I'm not recognized as one.

What needs to be done so that this problem is solved??

    With my regards,

    H. Sofia Pinto

  • Sofia,

It is possible to edit papers and add your profile if you exist on the system. However approvals appear to have been suspended since early September with no word from Microsoft on when they will be restored.

Microsoft: Is any date set for approvals to be restarted?

If you do not exist on the system at all, perhaps you can upload BibTeX entries for your papers to get yourself added.

    Microsoft: Would this work?
