Years of working service and now

Question
-
XP has been installed on this machine for at least a couple of years. This is a retail package purchased from a legit retailer.
XP started a loop the other day and a 3 day countdown. The problem is when you use oobe/msoobe /a I am activated.
So for fun I click on the next reboot to active. It says I am already activated.
As you can guess the clock is still counting down, not what is going to happen when I reach no days but...
This all started right after I did the last MS update for XP. Updates are done regularly. Nothing appears to be corrupt during the download. Never had a problem before.
I did a restore back a few days before the problem started and the problem persists. I have checked for malware, none. Ran security essentials and nothing found. AVG and clam/clam sentinel are my normal and nothing appears.
What am I missing. Here is the output to WGA diagnostics. Any help would be appreciated.

I am no expert at XP reports, but this one appears to be Genuine. I am sure that Noel Paton will come along and let you know what the OS problem is. However, your copy of Microsoft Office is counterfeit. It is a Blocked Volume license only meant to be used in a large scale installation. You should uninstall it and either purchase a legitimate copy or look into free alternatives such as Open Office.

Thank you. That is rather interesting.
Believe it or not I do own a legal copy of office. What is funnier is I use Open office 4.1 and Corel because I did not like a lot of the features of MS office. No offense to MS. My MS Office copy was purchased at the same time as the XP same retailer. I will be happy to unload this copy, reload if necessary and then permanently delete. If it makes a difference I can take a picture of my retail MS Office case.
Thank you for noticing and informing me. I do hope we can come up with an answer to the validation issue.
Let me thank everyone in advance for their assistance.

My MGA-diagnosing skills on XP are almost as limited as the information we get from the tool, unfortunately :(
I can see nothing wrong in the report other than the obvious problem with Office.
Please attempt validation at www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate using Internet explorer (Firefox will almost certainly bomb out, as the validation tool will attempt to use an ActiveX control).
What happens?
