ie11 target attribute not working RRS feed

  • Question

  • Since a recent windows update, I can no longer get the ie11 in win10 to get the html <a target="name"> attribute to open links in same named tab or window. How do I change this aspect back so I can open links in a single tab instead of having dozens of tabs open at once. The target="name" should open link in a single tab named "name". Works still in Chrome, but no longer works in ie11 or Edge. I have tried adjusting the tab settings, to no avail.
