Windows Product Update Tool

Question
-
I started getting messages on my computer saying that it was not a genuine product. I purchased the Windows Product Key Update Tool and got an e-mail with the new key. Unfortunately, and this is where I was stupid, I have inadvertantly deleted this message from Microsoft. But, I did print off the message when it first came in. I was proposing to do this update this afternoon, when it might be a quiet period for me, but when I key in the link - xxxxx it doesn't bring up the facility to download the Update Tool. The machine just tells me that it can't find it. Somewhere I am doing something wrong, and as I am not too au fait with computers, I am not sure where to go next.
I may say that the Windows that is on the machine already is an update from Windows 2000 to Windows XP and it was put on in the computer shop, but when I went back to speak to them about getting a genuine Windows installation, they didn't want to know!
Any help please, and preferably in very simple terms, my old brain is getting a bit addled now.

Thank you very muich to S Martin 133 and also to Dave MS for your replies. I have tried the line suggested by S Martin and if that doesn't help, then I shall contact the number suggested by Dave. Hopefully then I can get rid of these 'messages' regarding the validity of my system.
Thank you folks - you have helped an old granny keep her sanity for a wee while longer.

Try this link:
XXXXXXXXXXXX
It looks the same as yours, but it goes to the Windows Product Key Update Tool. Hope you have better luck. I also have my key but I am getting an error while downloading files.

In the email you printed there should also be a contact number to use about questions surrounding your E-Key. If you contact them they can resend the email and the link should be included.
If this fails please created a free on line support case for this WGA issue at:
