FIPS 140-2 Compliance and File.Encrypt - .NET 2.0

  I assume once you enable the System cryptography: use the FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing setting on an NTFS system, that after the reboot, calls to encrypt a file via File.Encrypt from .NET 2.0 will be FIPS 140-2 compliant, correct?
