Problems connecting to Synology NAS in Windows 10

Question
-
I have been try to getting my Synology NAS DS1513+ to connect to a new Dell Desktop Computer running Windows 10 Pro Version 1903. I use the Synology Assistant to both to see the server and then connect to it but I keep getting a "Authentication Failed ErrorCode: 1312"
I also can't map this drive out of "This PC Map a drive" in the file explorer either.
Oddly I can not only map to the NAS on my Surface 4 running Windows 10 Pro Version 1903 but generally when I boot up, the server appears automatically in the File Explorer under my network folder.
Can someone tell if something has changed in Windows 10 that blocks this connection?
I would appreciate any suggestion people might have. Thanks
