Which course(s)? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We are looking in to developing our own solutions for CRM Online.

    Types of scenarios include

    1. plugins

    2. records created from websites (ie Lead, Contact etc)

    3. exposing records to web (orders, service cases etc)

    4. ecommerce platform from CRM (ie shopping carts that pull products from crm & create orders)

    5. linking crm to accounting packages via a connector

I understand the sdk can help me with some of these needs as well as the accelerators but I would like to understand how all this works for future requests that our customers might require.

So I am wondering what the best course(s) either on site or preferrably online would be the best to do?

    Thanks in advance

  • Looks like it is the same course except, the one I linked was instructor lead. The 'intent' of either course it to supply the fundamentals to pass the MB2-876: Extending Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 exam. This covers working with the SDK which in turn can be translated into doing custom integrations like you are looking to do.

The unfortunate thing is there really isn't that much 'structured' material out there for this sort of thing. Either course would give you a good starting point. If you have background in .NET development it might be a good idea to look at the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Software Development Kit (SDK) and start trying some simple custom development and go from there.
