Shut down Vail from Dashboard? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to shut down Vail so that I can remove a hard drive safely. These were both easy tasks to do in WHS PP3, but I see commands for neither in Vail.

    Am I missing something obvious?

    Thanks!

Yeh, Saul, you are. Open the Dashboard and click on Settings (upper right
corner underneath Windows Server Code Name Vail). In the window that opens,
you'll see a red on/off switch at the lower left. Click on that and you're
    outta there.

  • I'll note that this is the same place you found the "shutdown" button in V1...
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
