Shut down Vail from Dashboard?

Question
-
I want to shut down Vail so that I can remove a hard drive safely. These were both easy tasks to do in WHS PP3, but I see commands for neither in Vail.
Am I missing something obvious?
Thanks!

Open the Dashboard and click on Settings (upper rightcorner underneath Windows Server Code Name Vail). In the window that opens, you'll see a red on/off switch at the lower left. Click on that and you'reoutta there.Nancy WardWindows 8 Beta Ferret

I'll note that this is the same place you found the "shutdown" button in V1...
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)Tuesday, November 16, 2010 1:45 PMModerator -
