Can not create new user in MS CRM 3.0

Question
-
When creating a new user in MS CRM 3.0. I am getting the following error message.
"An error has occurred, For more information, contact your system administrator"
The system was working fine, started getting this error in the last couple of days. CRM is able to retrieve info from AD, when I enter the Domain Logon Name but errors when trying to save the record.
I am able to enable and disable existing users as well as changing their Roles but just can't create new users.
Creating new reocrds in all other entities seemed fine. Creating new Security Roles are also fine.
We have tried reinstalled the Application but still no good.
Can anyone advise how I can diagnose this issue? ThanksFriday, October 2, 2009 5:49 AM

Thanks for the prompt feedback Tiaan,
I have tried your suggestion but in deployment manager, there are no users on the dropdown field for me to select.
However, I am able to use Deployment Manager to change a user's account.Monday, October 5, 2009 10:23 PM -
Did you check the kind of license that you are using? Does it has limitation? Try removing one of the existing user and add a new oneTuesday, October 6, 2009 6:48 AM

Hi arulvr,
License is OK, we have 100000.Tuesday, October 6, 2009 11:59 PM -
No other idea...but you can check out the AD and see everything is fine up there...else, the best bet is to ring MS and am sure with this much license, they wud be glad to help :-)Thursday, October 8, 2009 12:52 AM

had the same issue 2 weeks ago.
I went to AD properties on User you want to add and fill up following:
....Make sure to make him a member of Reporting Group and Usergroup
....Make sure to update his Organization info with something like..
Title:
Service manager (or what ever)
Department Delevery
Company : Your Company name.
save data..
try again..
worked for me..
