Windows Mobile 6.5.3, Tahoma Font

    Question

  • Hi,

Under development of application for Windows Mobile 6.5.3.

Tahoma font is default on the Windows Mobile, and I need to use Bold Tahoma on the PDA.

But it doesn't support double-byte characters such as Chinese and Japanese.

So, I'm trying to replace the default font tahoma.ttf and tahomabd.ttf with tahoma.ttf and tahomabd.ttf which are copy of the font files from desktop Windows supporting Chinese or Japanese.

I tried to paste the copied ttf on the existing default ttf in order to replace, but it was rejected.

How can I replace the default Tahoma ttf with copied Tahoma ttf from desktop WIndows.

    Thanks.
