Invalid Product Key RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have the student version of Microsoft office enterprise 2007. i installed it when first purchsed on home pc and laptop. my home pc has crashed so i am starting over and reinstalling everything. I am receiving the message that the product key is invalid. I was told that this shouldnt be a problem and that i can speak to someone about issuing a new product key to use. where can i find that number, is that somthing that i would have to pay for?

i dont see anything on my cd about limited times to use the cd so i am not understanding why it's not letting me reinstall it?

  • Hello l.ray,

In order to receive the best support, we request all users initially download and run the Genuine Diagnostics tool at this link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012. Click "Run" to download and start the Utility.  When asked, click the "Continue" button.  When the utility completes its run, click the "Copy" button, then come back here and paste the report into your post.

How did you acquire the "student" version of Office Enterprise 2007?

Does the installation disc have anything on it along the lines of "Volume License" or "requires separate volume license" or "all use subject to volume license terms"?
