Not Running Genuine Windows error message 0x8004fe21

Question

I got a new HP Z400 Workstation with Windows 7 pre installed at work yesterday and about 1 hour after the IT guy installed Solidworks and an AutoDesk suite I got the "This computer is not running genuine Windows" error message. So I ran the Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool...

The set of file mismatches above are typical of one of two causes:-1) a restore from an image backup of the system2) a failed driver updateThe only one for which we currently have a solution is the second.....Installing the Intel Rapid Storage Driverstry downloading and installing them from here -Once complete, please reboot twice, then post another MGADiag report.Good Luck!Note that if the install of the above drivers fails, it would be worth checking for older versions - specifically v10.1.0.1008 – which may also solve the problem.

I downloaded and installed the drivers and it seems to have fixed the not genuine error as the message has not come up again. However last night it did an automatic update and when I came in this morning it said this:
Attempting Boot Fom Optical Drive
Attempting Boot From USB Device
Missing operating system_
I tried a hard restart but the same message comes up.

So I tried booting up in safe mode and that started it up and everything seems to be working fine...Thursday, February 16, 2012 3:28 PM
