Do try this
Open Run and then type "gpedit.msc".
Now goto User Configuration > Administrative templates > Windows Component > Windows Explorer.
Click on Windows Explorer you will find the 3rd option on the right side of screen "Removes the Folder Option menu item from the Tools menu"
Just check it, if it is not configured then change it to enable by double clicking on it and after applying again set it to not configured.

I hopes that you will find the option after restarting windowsMonday, December 24, 2007 7:28 PM -
1) To get back the FOLDER OPTIONS, follow this. Save the below content in a file and save it as filename.reg
Put this in the file[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoFolderOptions"=dword:0000000[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions]
"NoBrowserOptions"=dword:00000000Then click on the file to run it. Now you will be able to access Folder Options.
2) To unhide the hidden files and folders , do this. Open Command Prompt "cmd.exe". Assume d:/folder is the path where the hidden files and folders are located. Type the following command in the command prompt.
attrib -h d:\folder\* /s /dSaturday, December 29, 2007 3:01 AM -

You might have a virus related problem .
Try using some good online antivirus utility like trend micro onlineThursday, January 3, 2008 10:21 AM -
Hehe...
It is a Registry Hijack.. the remnants of a viral activity that took place probably some time ago in your PC.
You've got the answer above. But you may find some more problems like Disabled Registry Editing or Taskmanager.
Reply as a question. I have the answers.Tuesday, February 19, 2008 5:56 PM -
