Multiple Database Sync with identical schema- 'Private Sub InitializeAdapterProperties()' has multiple definitions with identical signatures - Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it possible to sync multiple databases  in the same project?

    The databases have the Different names but the same table names.

    When I run the wizard to create a synchronised table using Microsoft sync framework, I am getting the above errors.

    This is auto generated code. I am synchronising a 4 tables. Three of them have identical schemas, which might be the problem.

    Below is a sample of the code that is throwing the errors.

    Partial Private Sub OnInitialized()
    End Sub
    Public Sub New()
    End Sub
    <System.Diagnostics.DebuggerNonUserCodeAttribute()> _
    Private Sub InitializeCommands()......

    This is the same for all tables in the database.

    It only happens in the Partial Public Classes for each table adapter.

    Partial Public Class CustomerDetailsTableSyncAdapter
    Inherits Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.Server.SyncAdapter.......

    As far as I can see there is no duplicates within the partial classes. When I remove the code that is throwing the error, the sync does not work correctly.

    Can anyone please shed any light on this error.
