Roundtable firmware via OCS SUS RRS feed

    We just got our first 2 roundtable devices...when attempting to download the latest firmware into OCS Software Update Services I find the latest roundtable firmware download isn't a .cab.  Any assist in using OCS Software Update Services for roundtable??

    A quote from that link:

     

    "The fastest way to update the Microsoft RoundTable device is by means of an automatic image update using the image update server."

     

    We have an update server running, updating CX700 devices just fine.  This solution calls for a .cab file to update a device.  In the Microsoft firmware download from January for the Roundtable, there is no .cab file.

    Ask your direct MS contact about the .CAB version of the Roundtable firmware, they have it.

    Microsoft does not have the .CAB version of the Roundtable firmware, instead they are releasing a tool set to create your own .CAB files from the .MSI file.  This hasn't yet been made public but I've just today spoken to tech support regarding the issue.
