  • It looks to me as if this machine shipped with Windows 8 Pro installed - and a downgrade to Windows 7 Pro option.

    If that's the case, then your only option is likely to be a reformat/reinstall using the proper Dell Recovery media.

    Is there a Windows sticker on the case? If so, for which version and edition of Windows?
