display activities of all the related regarding records of an account RRS feed

  • Hello . I have to make a custom report in crm. for that i need an xml for making a report. I want to display all the related"regarding" records of an account (all the activities under the contact, opportunity in a account etc). But i have no idea how to make this view in advanced find so that i can fetch xml from there for making a report or any  sql query so that i could write to get the desired result. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

  • Hi,

    Try to use sql query so that you can use join to relate the different entities to account and there is no need of fetch xml.

  • Hi,

    In the main ribbon you can see the option of "Advanced Find" button. Through this you manage easily. Set Look for as Accounts and below that you can see all the fileds option and related options. You can easily manage the query from there. After creating query click on Results to see the output of your filters.

    I think for this purpose you need to develop sub report within a report. and create different fetchxml for each case

  • Hi,

    If I understood your requirement, this can be done by using Activities Associated View of each account.

    Open Account form --> click on the "Activities" from sitemap--> change the filter as per the below screenshot.

    If you have to create custom report then above replies will do.
