  • I think there might be a bug with that feature which I reported to the Live Writer team a few weeks back, Brandon Turner would be able to confirm that for me though.

  • I think that the bug is only related to Excel.  xelect, could you tell more about the formatting you are trying to copy?  Or send me the document if it is a public document to ?

1 point: I do COPY and in WLW2009 I do SPECIAL PASTE----KEEP FORMATTING, but is everything changed.
2 point: In Word 2007 I save the documment in format of Word 2003.-------the same problem.
3 point: I create the same document in Word 2003------it's good, no problem

  • I have the same problem when I copy the text from the standard error page of ASP.NET.

    You can
    1. try to throw an exception on a ASP.NET page
    2. Ctrl + A to select the full page
    3. Ctrl + C to copy all the text
    5. You find only some format, like font-size, font-style, are kept but others, like font-color are lost.

  • Hi...

    Same problem with Vs2008 SP1.
    - Select all code
    - Paste into Live Writer and all formatting is removed.
