Help with Windows Live One Care RRS feed

  • One of my Toshiba Satellite reconizes cd/dvd but not the other towards saving its backup file on my onecare 3 pc onecare circle protection subscription.Need help

  • If you have configured centralized backup you cannot have a CD drive as the backup destination. If you have not configured backup as centralized backup try resetting the backup plan on the computer that does not recognize the CD drive.   • Thanks very much Jim.Does centralized backup work by saving a onecare group backup files to a certain->>one of my pc harddrive,or a dvd?
    I found my problem tho from my question above,it was....Walmart in Stanford Kentucky evidently only sells dvd-r or always sold out of dvd-rw because twice there i was wanting and looking for dvd-rw.Since there wasn't any i purchased the dvd-r instead....BIG MISSTAKE cause Cd-r is the same as Dvd-r, of my opinion, nothing but junk..(money wasted)..I will ONLY buy DVD-RW and CD-RW from now on.

    had control of my laptop and was in my other laptop >> c:\\programfiles\ and demanding 90 dollars towards purchase of their look-a-like fake pages like microsofts Security Center.But i deleted them off my c:\\programfiles\ ,thank god.

  • Centralized Backup can backup all of the PCs in your Circle to the same destination - that can be an external USB drive or a network Share.

    As for the infection that you've encountered:
