Backup external USB drive on client computer

  Yes, it should be listed when you set up the backup for the Client in the Server Dashboard.

  Thanks for your reply Phil!

  When the client computer was added for backup the external drive was not connected to the computer. After connecting the external USB drive, I tried using "Customize backup for the computer" to add the drive for backup, However, the external drive is not listed in the "Select which items to back up" dialog.

  Do I have to remove and readd the client compter to get the drive to show up?

  The external drive is not always connected to the computer, if I do succeed in getting it added, will this be a problem?

  Only a drive formatted using NTFS can be backed up. Some external drives are formatted using FAT32.
