I have spent time read those who have/had the same problem i have rightnow, but none seem have solved theirs. I juz noted this when i tried to download new programes like, IE7, Win Media 11, ... but most of them required Windows Genuine and Validated Keys. I have tried few methods that Microsoft provide, but i still couldn't pass and the problem still problem. Rely on information above plzz.. tell me what to do. Fully appreciated. Thanks!!Friday, February 9, 2007 12:50 PM

Bh4eva,
Right now, your computer has a Volume Licensing edition of XP Pro installed (Line 8), and that installation was done with a now-blocked Volume Licensing Key (VLK) (Line 2). VLKs are blocked by Microsoft at the request of the original keyholder for such reasons as the key was lost, stolen, compromised, misused, or expired. Also, MS may have blocked the key if it notices a pattern of misuse, ie, more installations of XP using that key than authorized.
As a rule, VL editions of XP should not be sold to individual consumers. Businesses, schools and gov'ts normally use VL editions for flexibility in installing many computers. Also, Volume Licenses for Windows XP are Upgrade licenses ONLY and cannot be used as the original or base license for a new computer.
This is why you were seeing the "software counterfeiting" messages on your computer, because the current installation of XP is an unauthorized installation.
More bad news: Your Office 2003 Pro installation is showing as Nongenuine (Office status=114 means nongenuine). If this comes as a surprise to you, please go back to where you purchased the installed copy of Office and let them know that it is a counterfeit copy and that you demand the genuine copy that you paid for. or a refund. In any case, please uninstall the nongenuine installation of Office 2003 as soon as possible.
Look on the computer or in the materials that came with your computer to see if you have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). If you have one, tell us about the COA. Tell us:
1. What edition of Windows XP is it for, Home, Pro, or Media Center, or for another verison of Windows?
2. Does it read "OEM Software" or "OEM Product" in black lettering?
3. Or, does it have the computer manufacturer's name in black lettering?
4. DO NOT post the Product Key.

A "Blocked VLK" is a Volume License Key that is valid, but was licensed solely to a corporation or larger enterprise/business. Blocked VLK's are Product Keys that Microsoft has received consent from the original owner to block usage of. A VL Product Key is non-transferrable to individuals. In order to resolve your non-genuine licensing issue, please visit: www.microsoft.com/genuine and click on "Validate Windows". When validation fails, click on the Get Genuine button which will provide information on how to acquire a WGA Kit.
Also, your copy of Microsoft Office Professional is non-genuine. You'll need to uninstall it, then visit a nearby store that sells computer software and purchase a genuine version of Microsoft Office.

This is what i get after i installed plug-in(above). Some of its had changed but i still blocked when i tried to validated it. By using key upodate tool from Microsoft, i have found the whole 25digits of my product keys, after i submit it says, the keys has been used or already in use. And i tried again, it says, the product keys entered is not a valid key for this system.
I have found 2different keys, 1/ it says Microsoft Windows XP CD key and it match the key that revealed only 15digits by using Diagnostic Tool and the other 10digits revealed. 2/ it says, Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 CD Key. Is this a problem? and can i use the second keys to submit the validation? (i haven't tried yet). Thanks,..Monday, February 12, 2007 6:29 AM -
