Win Vista-32 bit: Pointer device keep flickering

  Hi 

  I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit on my hp dv6000. 

  My pointer device keeps flickering ary annoying. 

  I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the Synaptics pointer but to no help. 

  It used to go away when i restarted  my computer but now it keeps going. 

  Please advice...
