  • Hi, Im kind of dissapointed, I had to break almost half of project because "compatibility" issues, and now it goes to the end of compilation process and give me this....  anyone can help?

    I see “Unity engine” in the error message. Is this project exported from a Unity project? Are you going to build a Unity game in UWP?

  • Hi Roy, I will try to explain shortly.

    At this point im into unity3d latest version and with visual studio 2017, I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything, from visual studio to unity3d to guaratee im in the quite last version and no installation issues.

    The Game was compiled for PC/Mac/Linux under unity3d quite nicely without any problem. I changed targed to UWP and there was a mess, a serius mess, it send error of SERIALIZATION (i dig and Microsoft actually started supporting serialization and in this FALLS UPDATE everything must be runing ok) im into latest and in version 10.0.16299. It didnt work. So i break apart the project and kill what gave the errors, I just wanted to have the project runing to start fixing things out...

    It goes to the full compilation, and near the end when its wrapping things up its stop giving the whole text I posted above.

    Can you help please? I have tweaked everything i can suspect of but no results.

  • That’s a Unity error. If I recall correctly it occurs when creating the VS solution not when compiling. Check on the unity3d forums for details. There have been bugs on and off with this, but the last I remember was fixed in 5.6 near the beginning of the year. I think it can also occur if you have script errors. Again, the Unity experts are on the Unity forums.
