  • Crystal Report Open from Resources folder, i have tried this.

    Dim CrytsalReportFile = My.Computer.FileSystem.SpecialDirectories.CurrentUserApplicationData + "\Embedded.rpt"
    Dim EmbeddedBytes As Byte() = My.Resources.Embedded

    My.Computer.FileSystem.WriteAllBytes(CrytsalReportFile, EmbeddedBytes, False)
    Process.Start(CrytsalReportFile)

    ****************************

    This error on last line

    System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: 'No application is associated with the specified file for this operation'

  • Hello,

    First thing to do is check file associations on your computer to see if there is an association for .rpt or even better yet double click one in Windows Explorer, what happens? I've never used CR but a good guess is there is no file association for .rpt.

    Since CR is third party, use their support https://answers.sap.com/questions/index.html
