    Scrolling a page with threads with a preview opened in Firefox 2.0.0.14 on XP causes the gray thread highlight to flicker badly.  It is *really* painful to watch, 10 Hz I'd guess, one core running at 100%.  It flickers on IE7 too, though not nearly as bad.  Perhaps you can make the highlight white for FF, I don't have much of problem telling what thread my mouse cursor is pointing to.
