  • Hello Sayed Hamid Peerzada,

Your Dell Inspiron 5100 computer currently has a nongenuine installation of Windows XP Professional installed.

Does your Dell have a Certificate of Auhenticity for any version or edition of Windows affixed to it?  If so, this CoA tells you what version and edition of Windows is licensed to run on your Dell.

In such case, please contact Dell to oder a replacement OS Reinstallation CD so that you may install the licensed Windows back onto your computer.  Contact Dell here:  http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/dellcare/en/backupcd_form?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&redirect=1
