    Hi , Am attempting to fire up an old 800 Duron with windows 98 . everythings goes fine except for sound device drivers not being available ?? I would like to know why they arent being installed and how/if I can remedy this darn problem . Thank You :) Jim

    Talk to the producer of undisclosed sound card (you can probably get it from the motherboard producer if it is integrated, or read the trademarks off the real card if it is external to the motherboard). Microsoft does not make sound card so there isn't a Microsoft forum for sound card downloads.
