Quote, Order and Invoice form not staying open RRS feed

    Wasn't quite sure which forum to post this to so hope I've picked the right one!

    We have three environments for our on-premise CRM 2011 installation. We have a Live, Dev and Training environment. I have been assured that they are all set-up exactly the same. :-)

    However, if I create a quote from an opportunity, or an order from a quote or an invoice from an order then in the Training environment, on creation the quote (or order or invoice) is created, products attached and the main header form stays open on screen. So, this enables the user to review the details and print to customer if required.

    But on both the Live and Dev environments, this doesn't happen. So if creating a quote from an opportunity, the form is closed on creation and I then have to open the quote header from the quotes section on the opportunity.

    I looked at the obvious (i.e. windows blocking) but I am accessing all three environments from the same machine using IE9 and all are trusted sites. I have searched and searched on google and forums and no-one else seems to have this problem. Any ideas where I might look next?

  • You can try to remove all webresources from the opportunity and the quote.
    If the new forms stay open this time then you have to start looking at your custom javascript code.
