    Where can i get help with a virus that won't let any anti-spyware or anti-virus software install and retrieve updates in order to scan for problems?

    I went to renew my McAfee subscription but could not download the new version. Customer service told me to uninstall the current version before I could install the new. New version still won't download and they tell me it's due to a virus. So now my computer has no protection and I can't run my Spybot, Malwarebytes, or any other application (including Spyware Doctor and Counterspy) I have tried to download and install because they all fail when trying to contact their website to get the leatest update definitions. I also ran the Stinger app from McAfee since it was free and it found nothing.

    You need to contact McAfee custom service to solve this problem since They know their product the best. Microsoft does not have McAfee's source code and can not fix the problem caused by McAfee.

    Of cause you can not find a forum for McAfee  questions in Microsoft forums. Microsoft forums is only for Microsoft products.
