Strange error recorded in application log RRS feed

  • Hello everyone,

    I noticed this error occurring randomly in various client. CRM is updated with the latest rollup (8 at this time).

    Log Name:      Application
    Source:        MSCRMAddin
    Event ID:      5922
    Level:         Error
    Description:
    An error occurred with the Microsoft CRM Outlook add-in.  Restart Microsoft Outlook and try again. HR=0xe3020009. Context=General. Function=CExplorerEventsRoot::SelectionChangeInternal. Line=514.

    Despite the error, it seems that users could continue with their work. Someone have seen this before? Any suggestion?

  • I discovered something new:

    the event seems to appear everytime I go to the "system jobs" view.

    Does anyone experience the same issue?

  • I am also seeing this on a number of client machines, but no idea why.  Did you ever find out any more?

    Running outlook 2007 sp2 with CRM 2011 roll up 8.  

    The system jobs view works fine for me and doesn't cause this error.

  • Did you ever figure this out?Getting similar issues for one of my clients but they're on outlook 2010 etc with the latest rollups on client and server
