Difference between 'Do Not Send Marketing Materials' and bulk email 'Do not allow' RRS feed

    Can anyone tell me the difference between the send / do not send marketing materials field and the bulk email allow / do not allow field?

    I want our company to use one which opts contacts out of mailings, but I can't see what the difference is between these fields.

    this depends on how you are building your marking list to send email, for example  when building your marketing list you can say get me all contacts which subscribe to our marketing material (send marketing material as Yes)

    regarding difference, see below..

    1. do not allow email -> when this flag is YES any email from CRM will not be send to this record

    2. do not allow bulk email -> when this flag is YES when email send out using bulk method (campaign or quick campaign) then CRM will not send this email

    3. do not send marketing material -> when flag is Yes then we should not send out any marketing material either via email or post. even if this flag is yes normal email (which are not marketing email) can be send out to this customer..
