Cannot connect to windows home server connector from any computers once I switched to new ISP (time warner)

Question
-
As soon as I switched service providers, I stopped being able to connect through my windows home server connector. During this switch, it also required me to use a different router since my previous ISP provided a modem with a router (now I connect the time warner modem to a cisco router). I'm using auto DHCP configuration. I also recently added a DynDNS.org as a DDNS; I got this advice through another post of a similar topic. It didn't seem to fix my issue.
Here's what I can/cannot do:
1. I can ping my server.
2. I can remote in.
3. I can run the home server connector from the server itself.
4. I can access my server folders.
5. It seems like I can do manual backups (it lets me), but then I noticed once I logged into the connector from the server that it said I hadn't done updates in quite a while.
6. I cannot access http://server:55000
7. I cannot connect on any of my PCs (I have one XP, one Win 7 and another new Win 7 I added after this problem arose - on this new PC I cannot even install windows home server or the connector)
Thanks in advance; this issue has been plaguing me for quite some time...

Can you post the results of running ipconfig /all in a command prompt on your server and one of your clients?
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)Friday, September 24, 2010 12:20 PMModerator -

DNS has two misconfigurations:
DNS suffix (and search list) point to an external domain.
DNS Servers are external servers. Both causes, that Windows searches your server as servername.austin.rr.com trying to resolve that name against the external DNS servers of your Internet Service Provider. And these cannot know your inhouse machines.
Please read the FAQ How to Troubleshoot Network Connection Problems with Windows Home Server for more details and possible solutions.
