answering in some threads sends an error without an error message

  Hi,
  
  I'm experiencing issues with replying to posts. In many cases, when i submit a reply to a post it hangs at the loading stage and then sends out an error window but no error is written in it.
  
  I'm using Windows 7 Enterprise, IE 8 with Silverlight.

  log out , delete tour history and cookies true the safety tab
  
  restart browser and check

  use IE 8 , .....
  
  for problems with them you have to turn to firefox support

  What's the specific error that you're getting? Is it a dialog box stating "Unspecified Error"? I know this particular error is caused when the web servers are having intermittent issues with the live alerts service. Not often though

  yes, the error window has the title "Unspecified Error" and no error message on it.
  
  if the issue is with MS Forum's live alerts service then i do have a problem. There are alot of posts that i can't reply to.
  
  as a workaround, i'm posting using MS Live mail.
