Backup stops at 49% and then everything locks up RRS feed

  • Question

  • Backup starts and runs to 49% and stops and then it locks up the whole computer. When it told me to backup and to use my regular disk it told me it was corupt and then told me to use a blank CD or DVD which I did and now it stops at 49% and I have tried this a lot of times the last two days and it still will not work.

I have the same problem have use a stack of cdr.  My problems is that it would run to 70% then tell me to insert another dics because it was corrupt, run again after inserting another dics and do the same, I went where I brought the cdr and advice to use dvd, well it won't recognize those, the good thing is that I can take them back.  Now I would like to returned Window one care, since its a pain to run, do not need a dictator, or all the problem it has cause.  I want my money back. Since I have not been able to get help to solve this one care problem.

  • I'm sorry that you've had issues with the backup part of OneCare, but that is only one part of the program. I suggest contact support to get backup working.
If, however, you wish to abandon OneCare and you purchased online, support/customer service can cancel your account and issue a refund if you are eligible for one. If you purchased a retail copy and you are in North America -
