Trojan Renos32 cannot be removed or quarrantined properly. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I was infected about 2 weeks ago with the Renos32 trojan "startup".  I installed 1 care before actually downloading the anti-spyware fix pointed to by the redball with the white X telling me "to pervent" infection by clicking here to download their anti-spyware program,   Since that time, I get a dozen popups a day saying that 1 care discovered another trojan in my system.  It is displaying the same Renos32 located in one of the System Volume Information folders.  I left the system running for a couple of hours.  When I came back I found that the Renos32 installer "redball" back in my system tray and their popup every 2 minutes like when I was 1st infected.  Is there a way to fully remove this?  I am tempted to boot into Safe Mode and try and delete ALL of my System Volume Information files that contain the Renos32 leftovers.

Please help with instructions on how to do this so I can get back to work.
