CRM Outlook Client and http status 403 error

Question
-
We recently upgraded our CRM 4.0 On Premise site to IFD and are using a publicly trusted certificate. I un-installed and then re-installed the Outlook Client with Offline access. I started using the Configuration Wizard and entered the Intranet URL and External Web Address. When I clicked on Next, I received the error "The request failed with HTTP status 403: Forbidden".

Hello Sheryl.
And can you access it via Internet Explorer? Both access works?

Hi Sheryl,
Can you provide me a step by step on how you downloaded the code from your https site?

Hi Donald,
After installing the CRM 4.0 client, I launched the Outlook Wizard. As you navigate through the screens, you will be presented with 2 options for connecting to CRM. I selected connecting through an Online Provider and then put in the URL for our own CRM site, accessible through HTTPS. We have 2 URLs for CRM, one internal and one through HTTPS. You will need to know your URL address.
