Removal of old organization databases RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,
I had an organization called myorg1_crm.   I had to create a new organization in Deployment manager and called it myorg2_crm.   I went ahead and loaded the myorg2_crm database with data and is working well.  the problem myorg1_crm database is 14GB big and is just hanging out there.   And thoughts on the merits or demerits of deleting the myorg1_crm database.

  • You can go to Deployment manager and disable myorg1_CRM, then delete the organization from the Deployment manager first. Then delete the myorg1_crm database using SQL management studio.

    I hope this helps!

  • Great thanks....I just wanted to be sure that this is not going to hurt anything before I delete the old database.   I do not want to go through the data load process again.
