SqlSyncDescriptionBuilder missing reference? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Taking a big jump and moving from PHP to C#.

    I am attempting to get Microsoft.Synchronization up and running but I am encountering a using/reference error specifically for SqlSyncDescriptionBuilder and SqlSyncScopeProvisioning. Is it possible I installed the wrong version of Sync? If so, how do I check, and how do I uninstall?

    Using

    using System;Microsoft.Synchronization
    using System.Data.SqlClient;
    using Microsoft.Synchronization;
    using Microsoft.Synchronization.Data;

    Referencing (some non-sync applicable references not listed)

    Microsoft.Synchronization
    Microsoft.Synchronization.Data
    Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.Server
    Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.SqlServerCe

    Any help resolving how this would be appreciated!

  • Solved this myself. In Visual Studio 2015, the Build type was set to x86 instead of x64. Switched to x64. This solved the issue.
