Backup by folder and not just by drive or partition RRS feed

    I would like to see in a future update the option to backup a particular folder or folders insted of just backing up the entire drive or partition.

    I mean the backup utility needs to be more configurable with more options to backup just what we want.

    I agree totally, the 'Exclude folders' function isn't very configurable or nice to use. I wanted to back up a single folder, Documents and Settings, and had to uncheck about 20 other folders before I could do. Selecting a single folder as an option would be much more practical.

    This has been suggested on Connect. While that issue is marked closed, it's also marked postponed, which suggests that it will eventually see the light of day. In the meantime, I would suggest you go and vote.
