    From yesterday, the auto-complete feature in my IE is not working for some sites (such as gmail) ... I checked the OPTIONS , it is enabled over there.. What may be the cause of the error???

    well, i think that you or some1 else has deleted the auto- complete entries.
    or may be it's not working on non trusted sites.
    do check your zone.

    Well, I dont know much about IE 7, sorry...
    But i think that it muct have been due to internet speed.. the trafic must have increased at ur end...
    I have a similar function in Firefox for Google search column, it tries to suggest what to search as we type in the search box, but when the speed is low or I m running many process or websites at same time, that feature dosent work properly...
