MIIS 2003 installation failed in windows 2008 - Service unable to start

  Hi,

  I am trying to migrate MIIS 2003 (Database: sql2005) from windows 2003 environment to windows 2008 environment. During MIIS installation, It is giving the error : Error 1920.Service Microsoft identity integration server failed to start. The event log tells - The service was unable to start because the version of database is newer than the version of binaries installed. Actually its the same sql 2005 in the new environment. The installation is failing due to this.

  Can anyone please suggest how to overcome this issue?
