CRM 2011: What are category and subcategory fields on activity used for? RRS feed

    I found these two fields(category and subcategory) come with CRM by default for all activity entities. What the function for these two fields? I found they're normally grey out. How to use them? Can anyone tell me the detail for what case we should use them?
