CRM 2013 Plugin REgistration ACS Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • So, I have a managed solution which I am installing.

This is normally installed online and has a Service Endpoint.

Installing this on premise I need to install the customer specific certificate (which I have extracted from the wildcard and installed into the CRM Database).

The solution is now installed and I wish to insert the new certificate.  I open the configuration on the plugin registration tool. When I click Save & Configure ACS I get the error:

ACS60006: Attempting to insert a new copy of an object that already exists in the database,

If I check Azure I can see that it has inserted the Issuer and the certificate which is great.  The Plugin Reg tool also confirms that it has an Issuer ID number.

My question is what database is it talking about?  (CRM or Azure)

How can I get past the error?

If I try to Save & Verify, I get ACS50000: Forbidden .. error issuing token  .. no output claims were generated ..

I do not wish to break the existing organisations which connect to Azure, I just want this special certificate to handle requests from the on premise organisation.

(I should also say that I am using the same Management Key as the online solutions)

  • Got it.

Had to create some additional Rule Groups for this specific case.
