CRM "Quick Opportunity" button does not work RRS feed

  • When I try to select the "quick opportunity" button while in the browser [IE], nothing happens. A window is supposed to pop open but it does not.

    Can anyone explain this?

  • are you using crm 2013 , see your IE setting

  • It also does not work in Outlook. The scenario is this: [CRM 2011]

    - CRM accounts are tied to AD accounts

    - Some AD accounts can utilize the Quick Opportunity button in via CRM from browser and from Outlook

    - Some AD accounts cannot use the Quick Opportunity button via the browser and Outlook

    - Some of these accounts are 5 or 6 years old and some are a few months old

    - If you open up an actual account in CRM and then hit the Quick opportunity button, then it works.

    Has anyone see this issue before?
