Edge Validation - Wrong Targetname? RRS feed

  • Question

  • My validation test fails testing the 2-party login.  What's strange is that the targetname in the SIP response is not my pool name, but the internal name of one of my front-end servers (load-balanced).  I assume this needs to be the pool name vs the internal FE name.  Is this a DNS issue?

  • I should mention that this is a load-balanced Enterprise Consolidated deployment.  The sip.mydomain.com DNS name resolves to the VIP of the front-end pool.  frontend1.mydomain.local is the DNS name of a front-end server.
